Submissions

Thinghaus Publishing is open to fiction and literary work with a clear artistic necessity — manuscripts that feel intentional in language, structure, and emotional architecture.

We are especially drawn to literary fiction, psychologically charged work, speculative or genre-adjacent fiction with real stylistic command, and nonfiction with a distinct sensibility and shape. We respond to writing that leaves an imprint, work that understands atmosphere, and stories that trust the reader without losing them.

What we are not looking for

  • Imitative work or trend-chasing concepts.
  • Undeveloped first drafts sent too early.
  • Manuscripts that rely on premise alone.

How to send your work

  1. 1.Send a brief cover note (1–2 paragraphs) and either the full manuscript or a substantial sample.
  2. 2.Include word count, genre, and a one-line description of the project.
  3. 3.PDF, DOC, or DOCX preferred. Plain text is welcome.

We read carefully and respond as thoughtfully as we can, but our list will remain intentionally selective. We would rather publish fewer books with real conviction than acquire work we cannot fully stand behind. If your manuscript is precise, deeply felt, and truly finished, we would be glad to see it.
